Camel riding Safari is an interesting activity that can be done in Nusa dua. Precisely in Nikko Bali resort, visitors can ride a camel in the side part of the beach on the soft white sand of Nusa Dua. Visitors can ride on the back of a camel while viewing the nature and temples of Nusa Dua. The camels in Camel Safari have already been trained to adapt with foreigners and the environment. There are also professional tamers that will guide visitors.

 

There are five types of safari choices they are:  

Safari 1 which include 1 hour camel riding with lunch, Parasailling, Banana Boat, and Glass Bottom Boat & Turtle Island, welcome drink, hotel transfers and insurance.

Safari 2 which include 1 hour camel riding, hotel transfers, welcome drink and insurance.  

Safari 3 which include 1 hour camel riding with lunch or seafood Jimbaran dinner, welcome drink, hotel transfers and insurance.  

Safari 4 which include 30 minutes camel riding, hotel transfers for minimum 4 persons and insurance.

Safari 5 which include 1 hour camel riding with aroma therapy or balinese massage or balinese custom, welcome drink, hotel transfers and insurance.

All choices are interesting and of course, riding on a camel in Bali would give new experiences for all visitors, it is an interesting activity to try when visiting Nusa Dua area.

Yeh Sanih a Natural Cold Spring in North Bali

Yeh Sanih is water attraction located in Sanih Village, Kubutambahan, Singaraja City. It is located about about 17 kilometers in the east of Singaraja City and it takes about 3 hour drive from Denpasar City. Sanih is a costal village with a well known natural cold spring bathing area called Yeh Sanih, the spring is set in nice gardens. The natural cold spring sources from the river flow in the soil that comes from Batur in Kintamani. This natural water attraction attracts many tourist due to its location, it is located close to Lovina Beach, hence, visitors can relax at the fresh watered bath while enjoying the beautiful panorama of Lovina Beach and sometimes visitors may also have a chance to see the dolphins from far distance.

There are two pools available in Yeh Sanih. An Adult pool and a children pool. It is recommended not to visit Yeh Sanih on weekends because the cold spring is very popular among the locals and on weekends or holidays the spring may be full with local children and can get noisy. Other than weekends and holidays the spring has a quiet atmosphere and is very conducive for visitors who come with the aim to cool down. Yeh Sanih is opened daily from 7:00am until 22:00pm and the entrance fee is very affordable.

Around Yeh Sanih, small inns and restaurants are available, there's no need to worry the tourist facilities in this area is complete. The bathing area is surrounded by Lovina beach where visitors can also have a swim at the beach, watersport activities are also available and the beach is also a great sunbathing spot. Yeh Sanih is an interesting water attraction visited by both domestic and foreign tourists. Visitors who are having a tour to the north part of Bali should come by and feel the fresh natural spring of Yeh Sanih.

Sangeh the House of Sacred Monkeys

 

Sangeh is a small monkey forest located in the countryside of Sangeh Village, Abiansemal, Badung Regency. It is a sanctuary of Grey Long Tailed Macaques, this small monkey forest is located approximately 20 kilometers north of Denpasar City. Sangeh has an area of six hectares fertile forestland with giant nutmeg trees which grow up to 40 meters high. The main attraction in Sangeh is the funny and wise Balinese monkey inhabiting both trees and the temple in the forest. The monkeys that inhabit in the nutmeg forest each have a leader, there is one highest ruler or the king that dwells the largest area which is Bukit Sari Temple found in the heart of the forest. The monkeys that dwell this forest are believed sacred monkeys.

The Bukit Sari Temple is the main temple in Sangeh, it was built in the 17th century during the Mengwi Kingdom. The formation of Sangeh forest is believed as revelant to the happening of forest wood evacuation from Agung Mountain Karangasem to Mengwi regency in Badung. However on the way to Mengwi, someone realized the presence of the forest and is now known as Sangeh. Scientifically there is uncertain story about the existing of this forest.

Besides the Grey Long Tailed Macaques, there are also various natural inhabitants of Sangeh Monkey Forest. They include 22 different species of birds, five species of mammals as well as small reptile, amphibian and arthropod species. Other trees that are found in the forest include mahogany, guava and Sapodilla. Visitors who visit this Sangeh should beware, sometimes the monkeys will approach and take visitors belongings because they get attracted to shiny objects such as cameras, glasses and jeweler. Various stalls that sell food, drinks and art souvenir are available near the parking and entrance. The admission fee to enter the sanctuary in Rp 5.000, it is opened from 7:30am until 18:00pm. Sangeh Monkey forest is a great tourist destination for visitors who are having a visit to Bali.
