Taman Ayun

Taman Ayun located in Mengwi, Mengwi Village, Mengwi sub-district, Badung regency. If you depart from Denpasar city, you have to cover a distance of approximately 28,8 km to the street sunset road takes about 40 minutes if there is no traffic jam highway. If not bring personal vehicle, travelers can take advantage of public transportation department Denpasar-Singaraja or Denpasar Bedugul. Then tourists can go down at the crossroads in the village of Mengwi and continue the journey to the location by walking about 250 meters. 

Taman Ayun in Bali Language, Meaning beautiful garden. Pura Taman Ayun has a beautiful view. It's charm comes from an building complex that surrounds the temple is located on an area of 4 hectares. From a distance it looks like a bracelet pond water, so as if the temple building is above the water surface. A beautiful view is more complete with the growth of tree grove of trees and flowers around the temple building. Complex Pura Taman Ayun of Bali is composed of three parts, namely the open space, the main building, and the buildings are intended for gods and goddess. In the first part of which is used for various religious activities and stage arts, tourists can enjoy the beautiful arrangement of menu, the Pagoda with the typical terraced roof building temples in Bali.

While in the second parts, travelers will find a building called Bale Quaint adorned by sculpture, reliefs, and statues of Gods Nawa Sanga very beautiful. Another attraction that can be enjoyed by tourists who traveled to this place is a relic of Mengwi Empire located about 300 meter from the temple and the museum Manusa Yadnya. In the Museum, visitors can witness the ceremonies associated with the cycle of human life, from the womb to death.
