Exoticism Panorama of Menjangan Island

Menjangan Island is located in West Buleleng, Bali. To get there we should go to the harbor, located in the tourist area of Batu Ampar, Pejarakan, Gerokgak, Buleleng about 90-kilometer or 1.5 hours drive from the city of Singaraja.

After crossing by boat, you will get to the Menjangan Island. Menjangan island surrounded by coral reefs and a number of large and small caves which is a habitat for, soft corals, large groupers and moray eels. In small caves, there are many kinds of small snappers and batfish. The sea bottom is also rich in barrel sponges and sea fans with a large size. 

The depth of the sea and the quiet flow of current makes the underwater park around Menjangan become a place to live for tuna, hordes of jackfish, batfish, angelfish, sea turtles, even sharks. Therefore, professional divers frequently visit this island just to   enjoy the beauty of the underwater. Or just snorkeling on the beach. Besides the panoramic beach, visitors can also walk around the forest and see wild deer.

In Menjangan Island, the visitors not only enjoy the nature, but also spiritual tourism. In Menjangan Island there are Agung Pingit Klenting Sari Temple. The location is at the end of the island, facing the Java Island with a background of Mount Ijen. Moreover, Ganesha statue with 15 meters tall and Pagoda of Kwam Im stand sturdily here.

Sekumpul Waterfall | Most Beautifull Waterfall in Bali

Sekumpul Waterfall is the most beautiful waterfall in Bali. Located in Sekumpul Village, Buleleng Regency, Bali just 2 kilometers from Lemukih Waterfall. To see Sekumpul Waterfall it requires a lot of energy and struggle. From the parking area, you must walk far, pass a dirt road, down hundreads of stairs, and crossing the river.

 

If you drive a motorcycle, you can drive from the parking area ( near the ticket booths ), until reached the end of paving road. After paving road, the raod change be narrow dirt road ( footpath ). Not long after walk in footpath, you will arrive in a ‘Bale Bengong’ ( Gazebo ) with the amazing Sekumpul Waterfall scenery. From the ‘Bale Bengong’ you can see the beauty of Sekumpul Waterfall. This waterfall just not has one or two waterfall, but Sekumpul Waterfall has seven waterfalls. It’s make Sekumpul Waterfall be different with other waterfall in Bali. That seven waterfall located separately on the cliffs and trees. This waterfalls has the different shapes and heights. It’s not wrong if many people say this waterfall, is the best waterfall in Bali

From the seven of this waterfall, you just can see two waterfall from nearby. But two of Sekumpul Waterfall has different shapes and heights. This waterfalls come from different water source. The left waterfall come from the water spring and the other waterfall come from the river. On the rainy season the left waterfall still clean but the beside waterfall turbid.

To approaching Sekumpul Waterfall, you must down to hundreads of stairs and cross the river. I recommend you to waer short pants and sandals ( sport shoes ), because you will crossing the deep river (adult thigh) to arrive in front of waterfall. It’s need more struggle to this beautifull waterfall. But your struggle will paid by this amazing waterfall.

Malioboro - Souvenir Paradise Yogyakarta

Vacation to Yogyakarta ?

 Incomplete holidays in Yogyakarta without shopping at Malioboro Traditional Market.

Malioboro is the traditional market located in the center of Yogyakarta City exactly at Malioboro street, across the DPRD Yogyakarta office and only 20 minutes from Adisuciptjo International Airport. So, it can easily be reached from any directions. This market  opened for public and it is one of the shopping destination in Jogja. Around Malioboro also a Kembang Market and Beringhardjo Market.

This market famous for vendors selling unique souvenir of  'batik' Jogja. From north till south lined up vendors selling art product such as ring, necklace, shadow play, accessories and others. Besides art product visitors can buy T-shirt, shirt, bags, shoes and hat called blangkon. All of which characterized by batik. 

Visitors who come and shop in this market are not only local people but also come from outside town and foreign guests. Especially Saturday night and holiday this market would be fulled and crowded by visitors.

Besides souvenir, in the night there are also Jogja food and snack especially gudeg. With the light shinning in the night, crowded of people shopping and performance arts by artist such as pantomin, paint art and music add a beautiful impression Malioboro. 

For surround area of Malioboro, can walk while enjoying looking around it or rent a rickshaw with cost Rp 15.000,-

Malioboro is opened on everyday from 08.00am until midnight. This market is worth for visit and shop because visitors get to know all the art product of Jogja. 

Taman Ayun

Taman Ayun located in Mengwi, Mengwi Village, Mengwi sub-district, Badung regency. If you depart from Denpasar city, you have to cover a distance of approximately 28,8 km to the street sunset road takes about 40 minutes if there is no traffic jam highway. If not bring personal vehicle, travelers can take advantage of public transportation department Denpasar-Singaraja or Denpasar Bedugul. Then tourists can go down at the crossroads in the village of Mengwi and continue the journey to the location by walking about 250 meters. 

Taman Ayun in Bali Language, Meaning beautiful garden. Pura Taman Ayun has a beautiful view. It's charm comes from an building complex that surrounds the temple is located on an area of 4 hectares. From a distance it looks like a bracelet pond water, so as if the temple building is above the water surface. A beautiful view is more complete with the growth of tree grove of trees and flowers around the temple building. Complex Pura Taman Ayun of Bali is composed of three parts, namely the open space, the main building, and the buildings are intended for gods and goddess. In the first part of which is used for various religious activities and stage arts, tourists can enjoy the beautiful arrangement of menu, the Pagoda with the typical terraced roof building temples in Bali.

While in the second parts, travelers will find a building called Bale Quaint adorned by sculpture, reliefs, and statues of Gods Nawa Sanga very beautiful. Another attraction that can be enjoyed by tourists who traveled to this place is a relic of Mengwi Empire located about 300 meter from the temple and the museum Manusa Yadnya. In the Museum, visitors can witness the ceremonies associated with the cycle of human life, from the womb to death. The royal temple of Mengwi is one of the most important temples in Bali. 

Tanah Lot

Tanah Lot is one of the famous tourists attraction on the Bali Island. Located in the village of Beraban, district Kediri, Tabanan Regency. The distance is about 13km to the west of the town of Tabanan and 20km from Denpasar. From Ngurah Rai International Airport can be reached in less than 1 hour with a motorcycle if there is no congestion. Along the road to these attractions, there are many lodging. Ranging from simple inns to villas and hotels. This tourism object, it very crowded with tourists in the afternoon. Beautiful views of the beach and sunsets can be enjoyed around 6pm. There are also several hotels close to the beach around this tourist spot, which organize a variety of events in the evenings. This Tourists spot, also often become one of the locations pre-wedding photos in Bali for tourists who chose this island as a favorite location wedding photos in Bali. 

Tanah Lot means "Land in the Sea" the Balinese language. The Temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide. The Tanah Lot Temple was built and has been a part of Balinese Mythology for centuries. The temple is one of seven sea temples around the Balinese coast. Each of the sea temples were established within eyesight of the next to form a chain along the south-western coast. However, the temple had significant Hindu influence. At the base of the rocky island, poisonous sea snakes are believed to guard the temple from evil spirit and intruders. A giant snake purportedly protects the temple, which was created from Nirartha's scarf when he established island.
