Nungnung Waterfall is a waterfall located in a small village called Nungnung Village, Badung district. Approximately 40 kilometers north of Denpasar City and about 5 miles before the highest and longest bride in Bali, Tukad Bangkung bridge. Bali is not only famous for its beaches, this island is also famous with its waterfalls. Nungnung waterfall is one of the waterfalls in Bali that has a great scenic beauty. It was promoted as a tourist attraction since 1996. To reach the waterfall, visitors must trek about 20 minutes through rice fields and slippery stairs.
When arriving the waterfall area, visitors would see beautiful waterfall with heavy discharge of water. The water splashes makes the atmosphere around the waterfall cool and refreshing. From the waterfall, visitors can also see the great Tukad Bangkung Bridge standing firmly among the green scenery. At the waterfall, visitors may have a picnic and enjoy foods or just have a relaxation on the couch. There are small and comfortable bales provided along the path of the waterfall.
Nungnung Waterfall is a tourist attraction that must be visited in Bali, especially for visitors who loves nature and trekking because to reach the waterfall location, visitors must go down stairs that have quite a lot of numbers. Along the stairs, visitors may see beautiful scenery and caves. Visiting Nungnung waterfall would give an adventurous experience for all visitors.
