Bali Island certainly renowned for its diverse natural attractions, especially the beach. Not only Kuta Beach that become tourist destination. There are still many beaches in Bali that is more beautiful than public beaches, but still not explored yet. One of them is called Honeymoon Beach. It is located in Tegal Wangi Street, Jimbaran. Close enough to Tegal Wangi Beach. 

Tegal Wangi Beach still fairly quiet from visitor too, because there are still many people who don’t know the beach location. Even though, the beauty of the beach is no doubt. Because it’s still quiet, the facilities are limited here. As well as Honeymoon Beach, even more quiet than Tegal Wangi Beach. Only a view local people visiting this beach. The location was not immediately seen from the road, unlike Tegal Wangi Beach that its hills cuold be seen directly from roadside, when we are almost there.

Road access to Honeymoon Beach is located 500 meters before Tegal Wangi Beach. After the stones street, exactly in the right side of street will seem a little downhill road. From the edge of the road, we still have to walking through a little forest about 800 meters to reach Honeymoon Beach location. That is the only way towards to this hidden beach. Along the way, there is no any markers that can lead. So, be careful when you pass through this way.

Difficulties to reach this place comparable to the beauty of Honeymoon Beach. Located on top of green hills, here people can directly see the expanse of blue sea complete with sound waves characteristic. As far as the eye could see will only appear exoticism of the sea surrounded by green hills, filled with corals. Even there are some coral that form a unique cave.

Yogyakarta Exotic Baron Beach

Row the southern coast of Yogyakarta does have its own beauty. The beaches stretches from east to west. One of the beaches is Baron beach. This beach located in Kemadang village, Tanjungsari, Gunung Kidul regency. It is about 40 kilometers from Yogyakarta city.

Visitors will be spoiled with the beauty of the wind and the magnitude of the waves making out with sand. The beach which has brown sand is meeting between sea water and fresh water sourced from flow river that empties in to the corner of the Baron beach. Visitors can buy fresh fish directly from fishermen or fish that has been cooked and ready to eat in the restaurant around this beach.

Baron beach which is a bay flanked by two hills provides a special moment namely Sedekah Laut ceremony (ceremony for sea). This ceremony held by local fishermen for offerings and as fisherman's gratitude for abundance of substance. Sedekah Laut ceremony held on Suro month (Javanese calender). Indeed a very attractive tourist. For visitors who visit to this beach, Baron beach charge a entrance ticket for visitors about Rp 5.000

Parangtritis Beach, A Romantic Sunset

Who does not know Parangtritis beach ?

Parangtritis beach is the most famous beach in Yogyakarta and has become a tourist destination by domestic tourist and foreign tourist. This beach is located in Parangtritis village, Kretek, Bantul regency, Yogyakarta. The distance between Parangtritis beach and Yogyakarta city is about 27 kilometers.

The physically, Parangtritis beach is not as beautiful as other beaches like Indrayanti beach in Yogyakarta and Kuta beach in Bali.  But, this beach has own beauty. Grains of sand are floated by wind will greet visitors when setting foot on this beach. Rows of rocky hills and rock cliffs adorn the west of the beach and there is a cliff which behind it is a ruined temple namely Gembirawati temple. The faint rumble of Parangtritis waves could be heard from this temple.

When the sun was already leaning to the west and sunny weather, came the beauty of this beach. The atmosphere dim twilight at sunset is purpose by visitors to visit this beach. Parangtritis beach provides the most beautiful sunset. The dim twilight and golden shades of the sun on the water surface more raise romantic atmosphere. Kaliurang, Panoramic Slopes of Merapi

Kaliurang is a tourist area which located in the slopes of Merapi mount exactly in Hargobinangun village, Pakem, Sleman regency, Yogyakarta. Kaliurang has a clean and cold air with the temperature about 20-25 Celsius degrees even in midday. The distance between Kaliurang with Yogyakarta city about 28 kilometers or 1 hours drive.

This resort area which located in 878 meters above sea level has many tourist attraction such as Tlogo Putri, Plawangan Turgo hills, waterfall and observation post. Observation post is the place for visitors see the beautiful of Merapi mount which stands dashing. Visitors can also walking around Kaliurang area for enjoying the natural scenery, the chirp of birds and seeing some monkeys jumping and swinging in the branches. The air dancing through the trees and slowly going down hill gives fresh feeling to our body. Even of the afternoon, this area will be covered by fog. Then, Kaliurang is the good of choice for family recreation and honey moon.

In the Kaliurang, there are many facilities such as inns, play ground, camping ground, restaurant and places of worship. Visitors who visit to Kaliurang must pay entrance tickets about Rp 3.000 and this resort area opened 24 hours or full day.

Waterfall

Sri Gethuk Waterfall, Breaking The Silence in Dry Land

Yogyakarta is not only famous for its temple and Malioboro market. Yogyakarta has also a famous waterfall namely Sri Gethuk Waterfall. This waterfall located in Bleberan village, Playen, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta. The distance between Sri Gethuk Waterfall and Yogyakarta city is 45 kilometers. To reach this waterfall, visitors will pass through eucalyptus forest and teak forest before arrived to Sri Gethuk Waterfall's parking area. From parking area, there are two options for the road toward the waterfall. The first choice is footpath with beauty scenery of rice field and the second choice is against of the flow of the river by raft.

Never suspected, Sri Gethuk Waterfall is located in Gunung Kidul regency. As it is known, Gunung Kidul is a dry land but it has a beautiful waterfall. The clamor of water broke the silence and the rocks under waterfall form a stairs add the beautiful waterfall which has a height of 25 meters. The visitors can swimming under waterfall and jumping from the rocks.

The Visitors who want visit Sri Gethuk Waterfall must pay addmision fee of Rp 30.000. This ticket includes addmision fee to Rancang Kencono cave. Sri Gethuk Waterfall is opened from 07.00 until 17.00
