Bali Frangipani Garden - The house of Frangipani

Taman Jepun or Bali Frangipani Garden is a great flower garden located in the center of Denpasar City, in Jalan Hayam wuruk. Bunga Jepun or Frangipani flower is widely used in ritual offerings, decorations and as garden plants in Bali. The garden has an area of 2.5 hectares and it is a special garden that collects various types of Frangipani flowers. Situated in the center of the city makes this garden as one of a tourist attraction but only few people notice the presence of this garde. For visitors who likes flowers, it is recommended to have a visit to this beautiful Frangipani Garden. Visitors can relax and enjoy a different atmosphere of flower garden.


This Frangipani Garden was opened in 2011, it collects about 400 Frangipani (2 to 10 meters tall) trees with different species and brought in from foreign countries such as Latin America, India, some countries from Southeast Asia and Balinese Frangipani itself. Some scarce species that may be more than a hundred years can also be found in this garden. The garden is laid out neatly completed with fish ponds. Entering the garden, visitors would see beautiful Frangipani trees lining up. Especially on flowering season during May to November, visitors may see lots of colorful Frangipani with great scents.

The garden is opened from 7:00am until 20:00pm, the enterance fee is only Rp. 30.000 per person. Outbound activities such as flying fox, camping ground and other children parks are provided in this garden with additional fees. A restaurant is ready to serve visitors with delicious drinks and meals after having a stroll around the garden. This garden is also available to be rented as a wedding and party venues.

Ubud Botanical Garden - Discover Green Natures

Ubud Botanical Garden is another beautiful garden besides of Bedugul. It is located in Tirta Tawar street, Ubud, Gianyar regency and about 23 kilometers from Denpasar. It approximately take 40 minutes to reach this botanical garden from Denpasar City. Ubud Botanical Garden was made by a German writer Stefen Reisner and Faizah in 2006 the area of this botanical garden is 4 hectare. Ubud region gives many attraction for tourist, from their nature, art, temples, rafting and trekking recreation also their cultures. Therefore, it is one of the prime tourist destination for all domestic and foreign tourists who visit Bali.

Ubud Botanical Garden is a botanical garden that has various types of collections and cultivations, all the plants in this garden is conserved neatly and beautifully. In this garden, visitors can see tropical plants such as chocolate plantation, orchid garden, herbal plantations, edible ferm, palm plantations, Rafflesia and many other plants. The garden is located 400 meters above sea level, hence, the atmosphere in this area is cool and the soil is fertile so plants in this area can grow and breed well. Ubud Botanical Garden also offers a labyrinth where visitors can explore and experience a great recreation with families. Children can play and have fun while learning about the importance of plants and nature through the facilities provided in the garden.

Restaurants, toilets, gazebos, and Joglo house for visitors to relax and enjoy the peaceful and natural atmosphere are provided for visitors. Ubud Botanical garden is suitable for relaxation and to refreshed minds and weary. It is a great place to visit with families and friends.
