Taman Pelangi Monjali, See A Rainbow at Night


For see the raibows, do not need to wait of the rain because the rainbow can be seen every day at night in Taman Pelangi. 


Taman Pelangi is located in Monjali's area exactly at Lingkar Utara street, Ngaglik, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. Monjali or abbreviation of Monument Jogja Kembali (The Yogyakarta's Back Monument) is  a monument as a sign return of Yogyakarta from colonial power. The monument which has a high of 31, 8 meters with shape of a cone and consist of 3 floors.


Taman Pelangi is a garden in the Monjali's courtyard, is decorated be lanterns which have colorful lights like a rainbows.  Entering the park, visitors will g through a route that is filled with lanterns of different colors and shapes such as flora, fauna, Japanese and Disney cartoon characters even the faces of the leaders of the Republic of Indonesia. While enjoying the night full of colors like a rainbows, visitors can also try to ride boat, speed boat, rickshaw and etc. To unwind, there is also a food courts.

De Mata Trick Eye Museum, An Eye Scams

Want to feel cross at an old wooden bridge and underneath there are stream of hot lava, then want to feel the love receiving flowers mark of Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, the Yogyakarta governor, all can be found in De Mata Trick Eye Museum.



A new tourist attractions in Yogyakarta, De Mata Trick Eye Museum is located in the basement area of XT Square exactly Veteran street, Pandeyan, Umbulhardjo, Yogyakarta. This museum referred to as the biggest of museum in the world because its has 120 three dimensional images. De Mata Trick Eye Museum is  new, unique and spectacular because it present a diverse picture themes such as nature, sport, animals, super hero, ornaments. The most of these images made by Petrus Kusuma and ISI students Yogyakarta.

The facilities of De Mata Trick Eye Museum is AC, radio mall, toilet, souvenir shop, cafe and parking area. The visitors who want to visit this museum have to pay an entrance tickets about Rp 50.000 per person. This museum opened from 10.00 until 22.00

Sri Gethuk Waterfall, Breaking The Silence in Dry Land


Yogyakarta is not only famous for its temple and Malioboro market. Yogyakarta has also a famous waterfall namely Sri Gethuk Waterfall. This waterfall located in Bleberan village, Playen, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta. The distance between Sri Gethuk Waterfall and Yogyakarta city is 45 kilometers. To reach this waterfall, visitors will pass through eucalyptus forest and teak forest before arrived to Sri Gethuk Waterfall's parking area. From parking area, there are two options for the road toward the waterfall. The first choice is footpath with beauty scenery of rice field and the second choice is against of the flow of the river by raft.

Never suspected, Sri Gethuk Waterfall is located in Gunung Kidul regency. As it is known, Gunung Kidul is a dry land but it has a beautiful waterfall. The clamor of water broke the silence and the rocks under waterfall form a stairs add the beautiful waterfall which has a height of 25 meters. The visitors can swimming under waterfall and jumping from the rocks.

The Visitors who want visit Sri Gethuk Waterfall must pay addmision fee of Rp 30.000. This ticket includes addmision fee to Rancang Kencono cave. Sri Gethuk Waterfall is opened from 07.00 until 17.00
