Keraton Yogyakarta is the government of Yogyakarta in ancient times and Sultan (King) residence. Over the times, Keraton Yogyakarta or Keraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat has now become a tourist attraction with a strong culture heritage of Java which is amazing and simple description of the beauty of the Java island. When entering Keraton, will be visible tools kingdoms such as Sultan's trains, soldier clothes, sword, painting and a beautiful javaness style house. Otherwise it, Keraton also demonstrated Javaness dance, wayang and gamelan for entertaining. To enter Keraton, visitors will feel back to the royal era with additional cultural atmosphere beautify.
Keraton Yogyakarta is located in center of Yogyakarta province only 25 minutes from Adisuciptjo International Airport. As a strategic place, Keraton is easily be reached from any direction. The entrance fee is Rp 10.000,- to surround as much and opened from 08.00-14.00am. To make it more memorable, come to Keraton at 09.00am because there are Javanese dance performance is very interesting to watch. But, visitors are not allowed to wear hats and glasses to respect the culture Javanese.
