Mangunan Orchard, Agrotourism in The Clouds


Refreshing to eliminate fatigue by plucking fruit and see indentations the Oya river from above the clouds.

Mangunan Orchard is located Mangunan village, Dlingo, Bantul regency, Yogyakarta. Access to this place is quite good. On the way, visitors will pass through the hills, valleys and forest. The distance between Mangunan Orchard with Yogyakarta city is about 35 kilometers or 1 hours drive.

Mangunan Orchard has many types of fruit such as durian, guava, orange, mango and others. Even this place also breeding cow. If lucky, visitors can pluck the fruits for a gift or just eaten there. Continue the journey to the top of the hills, visitors will found a tower. The function of tower is as a place for visitors see the beautiful scenery in the form of indentations the Oya river, drawbridge and blue expanse of the southern sea. For visitors who like adrenaline sports, visitors can distribute the hobby on the track that has been prepared by Mangunan Orchard. There are two tracks such as 2300-meters long track for downhill class and 3.800-meters long track for cross country class.

Visitors who visit to Mangunan Orchard must pay entrance tickets about Rp 5.000 and for those who want to hire the service of a guide, Mangunan Orchard provide some guide. Course at an additional cost.

Timang Beach Yogyakarta - Exhausting but Amazing


Besides Bali is popular for its beaches, Yogyakarta also has the appeal of beaches that are not inferior to Bali. One of the beaches that have exceptional beauty is Timang Beach.

Timang Beach is located in Gunung Kidul district, Yogyakarta and this beach flanked by two beaches namely Siung Beach and Sundak Beach. To visit this beach takes 3 hours from Yogyakarta city. The reach this beach, the necessary sacrifices fairly large because the location fairly remote so that there is not a lot of visitors. 

But tired and sacrifices will be lost when it got there, because this beach has natural scenery is very beautiful and very big waves that emit a beautiful roar. In the west, visitors could see the steep rocky beach and in the east, visitors could see the sandy beach as the south coast in general.

Angseri Hot Spring Offers Natural Warmth

Angseri Hot Spring is a hot spring located in Angseri Village, Baturiti district, Tabanan Regency. Approximately 2 hour drive from Denpasar City taking the direction to Bedugul. Angseri Hot Spring can also be reached from Penebel through Jatiluwih going northeast as well. The hot spring is surrounded by green vegetation, located between cultivated rice fields and small streams. The plantation around the hot spring is mainly bamboo, palm and fern trees, the natural surroundings make this hot spring as a great place for relaxation.

In the past, Angseri Hot Spring was only used as a traditional bathhouse by the local people. But now, the Hot spring have changed into a tourist destination with a warm and comfortable bathing area. There are 2 open-air pool and 4 small private pool provided in Angseri Hot Spring. The enterance fee is Rp. 3.000 and the private cabin only costs Rp 10.000 with maximum of 6 people and visitors can enjoy the hot spring for 30 minutes, but if the visitors are not very crowded, we can spend more than 30 minutes in the private cabin. The private cabin is directly cleaned up and the water is exchanged before the next visitor enter the cabin.

The hot spring also offer food and drink stalls where visitors can buy traditional Balinese foods. Due to the unique location and natural vegetation surroundings as well as the original hot water, Angseri Hot Spring is becoming a great tourist destination. Visited by both local and foreign visitors everyday, it is a great place to relax especially after having a long and tiring tour.
