Mangunan Orchard, Agrotourism in The Clouds


Refreshing to eliminate fatigue by plucking fruit and see indentations the Oya river from above the clouds.

Mangunan Orchard is located Mangunan village, Dlingo, Bantul regency, Yogyakarta. Access to this place is quite good. On the way, visitors will pass through the hills, valleys and forest. The distance between Mangunan Orchard with Yogyakarta city is about 35 kilometers or 1 hours drive.

Mangunan Orchard has many types of fruit such as durian, guava, orange, mango and others. Even this place also breeding cow. If lucky, visitors can pluck the fruits for a gift or just eaten there. Continue the journey to the top of the hills, visitors will found a tower. The function of tower is as a place for visitors see the beautiful scenery in the form of indentations the Oya river, drawbridge and blue expanse of the southern sea. Not only the exotic landscapes are given, this orchard has educational concept for training horticulture cultivation, organic fertilizer production, transplant, how to grow crops and research. Even a very complete facilities owned such as auditorium, pavilion, mosque, campground, outbond area, fishing ponds and others. For visitors who like adrenaline sports, visitors can distribute the hobby on the track that has been prepared by Mangunan Orchard. There are two tracks such as 2300-meters long track for downhill class and 3.800-meters long track for cross country class.

Visitors who visit to Mangunan Orchard must pay entrance tickets about Rp 5.000 and for those who want to hire the service of a guide, Mangunan Orchard provide some guide. Course at an additional cost.

Bukit Bintang, Beautiful Views From The Top of Yogyakarta City


Bukit Bintang is a famous tourist place with very romantic at night. This place called Bukit Bintang (Star Hill ) because visitors can see the beauty of night from hill and see the twinkling lights of Yogyakarta city. This twinkling lights sourced from homes resident are viewed from the top of hill like star. 

The hills are located at a height of 150 meters from above of Yogyakarta city has cold air. Sidemen Village Offers a Relaxing and Peaceful Atmosphere

Sidemen Village is an attractive village surrounded by many hills and beautiful rice fields that is irrigated by Subak or a Balinese traditional water system for rice fields. The village is located in the east part of Bali, Karangasem Regency. Approximately 63 kilometers away from Denpasar City and it takes about 2 hour drive to reach the village. It is precisely located on a valley on the slopes of Mount Agung, the highest and sacred mountain in Bali. Sidemen Village is situated far from the city, hustle of people and pollution. 

It has a calm and relaxing atmosphere, very suitable for visitors who would like to relax and have a peaceful holiday in a village far from the busy city. It is also believed that the village has a strong spiritual aura due to its location on the the slopes of Mount Agung, many Hindu temples are found in Sidemen Village.The population of this village is about 7000 people and most of them earn their living by farming. Sidemen Village is famous for its stunning rice field scenery and simple traditional way of life of the inhabitants. It is also famous because the village has produced masters of Balinese literature, Hindu theology and generations of skillful weavers.

There are several interesting activities that can be done in Sidemen village, they include trekking, having strolls along the village and rice field and see various types of traditional farming activities which are very rare to be seen in developed cities. Besides that, visitors also have a chance to enjoy more challenging rafting in the Tegal Waja river which has stronger current than the Ayung river. Nusa Penida Offers Great Natural Beauty

Nusa Penida is an island located in the southeast of Bali. Among other small islands that surround Bali such as Serangan, Lembongan Island and Ceningan, Nusa Penida is the biggest island. Administratively, the island belongs to Klungkung district. Nusa Penida is a small island, the population is about 45.100 people and the island area is approximately 202.6 square kilometers. Unlike other small islands, there are only little tourist infrastructure in Nusa Pendida, hence, the island is not full with foreign tourists like the main island, Bali. Visitors can reach this island from Sanur, Kusamba and Padangbai by fast boats.

Nusa Penida is also an interesting island to visit, though the island is not handled as well as Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida offers great underwater view. The atmosphere in this island is dry and the land is dominated with limestone and highland with hills. The inhabitants in Nusa Penida earn their livelihood as farmers, fishermen and merchants. The amazing diving spot in Nusa Penida include Penida Bay, Batu Lumbung (Manta Point), Batu Meling, Batu Abah, Toya Pakeh and Malibu Point. Besides diving, snorkeling and some water sport activities are also provided. For visitor who wants to have a swim at the beach, Nusa Penida offers great beaches for swimming with calm and clear sea water.

 
Another activity that can be done in this island is trekking and having strolls through the natural hills. The hills and trekking spot is still natural without modern touch gives great natural beauty for all visitors who come for trekking.
