Amed | The Best Diving Spot in Bali




Have you ever dive in Bali and see its beauty underwater? If you never dive before, then you should try it and you will amazed by the Bali’s seascape. There are some diving spots in Bali, one of them is Amed. This tourist object located in Tulamben Village, Karangasem, Bali. Amed offers the beauty of beaches with its sunrise, beside that Amed beach also has a beauty underwater life that you can enjoy when you diving or snorkeling. But, if you can’t diving don’t be worry because next to the beach there is a lake that usually used to practice diving. 

 
With black sandy beaches, very clear water condition, varied marine life, well preserved coral reefs, and constant water warmth make diving and snorkeling in amed favored by many local and foreign tourist. Besides diving in the ocean, you can also dive in ruins framework of Japanese petroli ship that used in the second world war era. This location can be reached only by ten meters from the seaside.

Some hotels have facilities that provide learning to dive, ranging from beginner to professional grade. The tourist will be accompanied by guides who have been trained, experienced, and supported by equipment that is already an international standard.

Pemuteran Beach another Beautiful Beach of Bali

Pemuteran Beach is another great tourist destination located in the northwest part of the island, Pemuteran Village, Grokgak sub district, Buleleng Regency. It is approximately 55 kilometers away from Singaraja City or about 1 hour drive from Lovina Beach and very far from Denpasar City, about 200 kilometers away roughly 3 hour drive. But the long drive would be rewarded by the magnificent view of the beach and the seaside village. 


Pumeteran Beach has a similar condition to Menjangan Island. The peaceful atmosphere of the beach attracts many foreign tourist to visit this beach. The beach is very appropriate for doing yoga and meditation, as well as sightseeing.The sea water is very clean and clear, lots of beautiful coral reefs are found in the waters of this beach. All the corals are conserved well by the environmentalist foundation, hence, colorful corals from all over Indonesia can easily be seen. Besides beautiful corals, various types of fish make this beach as their habitat. To maintain the preservation of the corals and fish, the local fishermen are only allowed to catch fish with traditional equipments. For diving and snorkeling lovers, Pemuteran beach is another great place to come besides Tulamben and Amed.

Several water sports are also available in this beach, such as Jet skiing and glass bottom boat. But the best thing to do when visiting Pemuteran Beach would be snorkeling and diving. This beach is a great place to visit when visiting Bali, home stays and hotels are also provided for visitors who want to stay longer in the coast Pemuteran.

Nusa Penida Offers Great Natural Beauty

Nusa Penida is an island located in the southeast of Bali. Among other small islands that surround Bali such as Serangan, Lembongan Island and Ceningan, Nusa Penida is the biggest island. Administratively, the island belongs to Klungkung district. Nusa Penida is a small island, the population is about 45.100 people and the island area is approximately 202.6 square kilometers. Unlike other small islands, there are only little tourist infrastructure in Nusa Pendida, hence, the island is not full with foreign tourists like the main island, Bali. Visitors can reach this island from Sanur, Kusamba and Padangbai by fast boats.

Nusa Penida is also an interesting island to visit, though the island is not handled as well as Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida offers great underwater view. The atmosphere in this island is dry and the land is dominated with limestone and highland with hills. The inhabitants in Nusa Penida earn their livelihood as farmers, fishermen and merchants. The amazing diving spot in Nusa Penida include Penida Bay, Batu Lumbung (Manta Point), Batu Meling, Batu Abah, Toya Pakeh and Malibu Point. Besides diving, snorkeling and some water sport activities are also provided. For visitor who wants to have a swim at the beach, Nusa Penida offers great beaches for swimming with calm and clear sea water.

 
Another activity that can be done in this island is trekking and having strolls through the natural hills. The hills and trekking spot is still natural without modern touch gives great natural beauty for all visitors who come for trekking. Nusa Penida is a great alternative for visitors who wants to experience natural beauties in a calm atmosphere.
