Wediombo Beach - A Paradise for Fishing and Surfing

Gunung Kidul is famous for its natural beauty such as cave, beach and others. One of famous beach is Wediombo beach. Wediombo beach is located in Jepitu village, Girisubo, Gunung Kidul regency, Yogyakarta. The distance between Wediombo beach and Yogyakarta city is about 1,5 hours.  

Wediombo beach has white sandy and the form of beach like a bay facing west. Then, visitors can see a sunset and expanse of blue sea of the Indian Ocean. Different from others beach which have hot air, Wediombo beach has a fresh air because this beach surrounded by trees. This trees have become a shelter for visitors. For visitors who have hobby fishing and surfing, Wediombo beach is a good choice because this beach has many species fish and a big waves. This beach is also nice to unwind while enjoying white sandy and the expanse of blue sea. The atmosphere of beach is very quite, away from the hectic sunbathing visitors and passing vehicles. The beauty of this beach also seen from cliff flanking this beach. 

The access to Wediombo beach is not too difficult, from parking area to beach visitors will go through the stairs because this beach located in behind the cliff. The facilities in the beach is quite complete despite the secluded location. There are Mosque, food merchant and toilet. Visitor who want visit to Wediombo beach must pay a entrance tickets about Rp 10.000

Balangan beach is one beach between all of beautiful beach in Bali, located in Jalan Balangan Uluwatu area, Badung – Bali. It is around 1 hour 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport and vehicle can enter this place because this place has wide parking area and safety. This place is very wonderful, it has a beautiful blue ocean, and flanked by cliff. The cliff is 7 meters high. Above the cliff there are some view you can see, like the ocean, golf course, etc. this place is very clean and it has a good wave for surfer. The tourist come here for surfing, sunbathing, swimming and relaxing. This place is calm and peace because this place is not as crowded as Kuta. There are local people who open business here like Café, and Villa you can buy some food at that Café or you can bring your own food.

Pandawa Beach, Kutuh, South Kuta - Badung

One more beach tourism object is opened in Kuta - Bali. It is Pandawa beach or people always said “The Secret Beach”. It is located in Kutuh village, Kuta district – Badung regency. It is around 3km from Nusa Dua, and around 15km from Ngurah Rai Interntional Airport. The Pandawa’s name is taken from history of Mahabharata. This beach is not famous as Kuta Beach, because this place is secret and just local people know about this place. This beach still natural with fisherman villagers. Around the trip to Pandawa beach you will see limestone cliff and figure of Pandawa like Yudistira, Arjuna, Bima, Nakula, and Sahadewa statue and look soo exotic and artistic.

After passing the cliff, you will see the true secret heaven with a beautiful nature with an excellent view. And then you will enter the beach, and you can see white sand, big wave in the middle of the sea, and see the blue water which still clean and clear. The atmosphere is very calm, and quite, seems like this beach offers the beauty, comfort, and serenity with super perfect. Seemed this beach is belongs to you and private beach for you.
